Thank You Class of 93!

Dear Classmates, I wanted to sincerely thank you for the beautiful plant that was sent in memory of dad when he passed away in August. It brought tears to my eyes when the plant from the Class of 93 arrived at the funeral home. I appreciate your thoughtfulness and for remembering me and my family during a very difficult time. Saying goodbye to dad was the hardest thing I have ever been through, but thanks to thoughts and prayers from good friends like you, I am getting through each day and trying to move forward. You all are the best and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

It is so fun to keep up with you all through this blog, new babies, kids starting school, new job opportunities, it is a great way to keep updated on old friends. I am still in Kansas City working for the American Hereford Association as the Director of Marketing and National Shows. I still enjoy Kansas City. It has been a crazy last year and a half juggling my work travel and trying to spend as much time at home as I could with dad, but so glad that my work was flexible and I was able to be in Iowa whenever I needed or wanted to be. I am so thankful for that. I will continue to get home as much as work allows. Lets do our best to plan a little get together in the next year, I would love to see you all and your families. I have learned one thing through this all, life is pretty short, and it is so important to enjoy your friends and family while they are here. Take care and I will be in touch. Love, Amy
